You could just look at the Youtube title. It kinda gives away what happens. Not sure what else you'd expect.

I am one who has watched a lot of violent nature shows over the years, this is the most brutal thing I have ever seen. Is that normal, or did this one woodpecker just figure something out?

Saw the youtube title and the first 3 seconds and stopped it... is the dove alive at the beginning of it? I'm assuming the rest of the woodpecker pecking away at the dove's brain?

I think they were chicks and not able to fly yet. The mother dove comes in at the end and chases the woodpecker away. But it's too late.

Those were like baby doves too that couldn't even protect themselves looked like. That woodpecker was going off on them. Didn't know they ate baby bird brains as a part of their diet.

    Weaklings.

Do any of you watch Anthony Bourdain? His episode of Parts Unknown in Hawaii featured him trying to kill a live octopus by biting the brain out. He tried and failed multiple times, ripping parts of the octopus apart as it writhed around trying to free itself. He even joked it may have ultimately died of exhaustion.

This was gross but we live in a state where people take their stupid guns and go hunting killing animals and use that as their food meat. We also live in a state with a large meat consumption.

If you find this evil then you should be vegetarian like many. Shifting goalposts everywhere

exactly. i dont understand how people could be truly disturbed by this when they willingly eat dead flesh every day when you can live a healthy life without it.

    a little weird.
