Today is the day when High School Senior football players sign the letter of intent to play for their college or university. How did your school do? Did any of your schools pick up any good high school blue chippers?
Ohio State finished in teh bottom half of the top 10. Not great but we added a couple RBs (watch Haw in a couple years who is a 215 lb RB from here in Columbus) and a couple O-linemen. So we have a nice class of 24. It's not in the class of USC or LSU but I'm satisfied with it.
looks like A&M will out-recruit UT this year (on paper) I am really excited about Tech's top 25 class as I don't recall ever seeing Tech listed in people's top 25 recruitment lists before. Their JUCO class might be the best in the country.
I listen to SportsRadio 610 alot, and there is always this one guy jocking Texas Tech Hardcore. I cant think of his name right now, but he's a good guy. He said that Texas Tech is going to have a good JuCo class.
I think rivals has UT at 8 or 9 and A&M at 12th ranked. USC is far and away #1 with like 8 five star players.
How is Houston's class because I have not heard alot. I would think the off. Stars would love to play in that offense
The University of Miami has an unbelievable class coming in! Willie Williams is a stud at LB and this Johnson kid, who was going to go to Pitt but de-committed, is from what I have been reading someone who could play as a true freshman. I wouldn't be surprised to see Miami's class rank #3 right behind USC and LSU.
Hey 4chuckie, do you have a full recruiting list for OSU? The only player I heard about was that stud DB that came from Ohio...
Arizona signed 3 players from Klein Forest. The head coach from KF was hired by Mike Stoops as a graduate assistant.
A kid I played against twice this season(and laid out once ), signed with Syracuse. His team tore us up both times. 51-0 in the opening game, and 48-7 in the first round of the playoffs. I don't know if he'll get to play corner back or running back there, though.
Ted Ginn is the guy going to OSU. He looks to be pretty good. Of all the highlights I saw, Early Doucet is the most impressive (LSU). Byers (USC) and Davis (USC) were as well. USC's class is so good it's not even fair. Even better than Mack's class of 2002. EIGHT 5 stars.
Yeah, I heard someone mentioned he had assaulted a girl, guy, and done some stupid stuff, but I didn't know if it was just a rumor. Guess he'll fit in well at Miami. Still pretty damn funny articles.
Name one Miami player who has been in trouble with the law since Larry Coker (and before that Butch Davis) took over as head coach? I am not going to say that it is not happened, but your assumption is stupid. Jimmy Johnson/Dennis Erickson don't coach at Miami anymore; but you aren't alone, tozai, in spouting off such ignorant crap.
