They keep saying that the Rockets 12 game winning streak is the longest in team history. They are confused with the Road winning streak. Which is franchise history. Do your homework guys!!
On several occasions they discussed the 15 game streaks as being the longest in team history, including the one to open the season.
I did not at any point hear the national announcers say that this was our longest streak. They said this was ONE of our longest streaks, but mentioned our 15 game win streak as well.
of course they gave the right stats... Jon Barry mentioned the 15 streak to open the season... do your homework, Zacatecas!
He was actually right ! the other announcer with Jon barry said that our 12 games winning streak was the longest in franchise history at the end of the game.
I'm watching the re-broadcast now on ESPN. I'll let you know what I hear. with 1:32 left in the game: "the rockets on their way to their 12th consecutive win" "not only will it be 12 in a row, but 21-3 in their last 24, yet clinging to a playoff spot!" "the rockets, who extend their streak to 12, one of the longest in franchise history..."
And at the end, the booth partner says: The Rockets extend their win streak to 12 which is one of the longest in franchise history!
