I didn't see this posted anywhere.

I have to ask, where were her friends who are doing interviews on TV now? Why didn't they stop her from leaving a bar with 3 strange guys at 2 AM? Hello! That is not friendship. If they were all tanked, where were the chaperones? Someone needs to be accountable.

If the 5 suspects had nothing to do with her disappearance, it sucks big time for them.

Breaking news, one of the suspects confessed to killing her. Sounds like it was one of the teens and accusing the security guards was to take the heat off them.

If it was that Van Der Sloot dude who killed her, then he is a freaking dumbass who deserves to die. From watching an interview with his Mom, he supposedly had everything going for him and was this great kid interested in education and sports. If he's the one, then she's in for a shocker. I'm wondering if it was him or one of the brothers. He was the one who was flirting with her and getting close to her. Maybe she wouldn't let him have his way and he off-ed her because of it? It seems to me they maybe all had a part in it(not the two security guards) by covering it up.

This was a high school trip? What the hell kind of high school trip sends 124 students to an Aruban beach resort? We never had such things when I was in high school.

For future reference, please include something with the original post to indicate that this is a news story. Some of us may think, "Uh, who the hell is Natalee Holloway?" :)

Yes, I was wondering that myself. I thought it might have been about that former Rockets Power Dancer who now has a singing career.

    RIP

That Amy Bradley thing is creepy, sounds like she was sold into a sex ring, and is now a prostitute.

Smokey really nailed the problem with this trip. Some kid is allowed to leave a bar with strangers she met 24 hours ago and go whereever to do whatever. There was a failure on so many levels by the people around her. The drinking only compounds the failure. For some girl who was labeled as such a smart student, she certainly appears to have lacked basic common sense. I'm sure the alcohol contributed to that. Her friends and those in charge failed her in the end IMHO and they get to share at least some responsibility for her death for the rest of their lives. If I'm her parent, then I'm looking to sue those who put on the trip somewhere down the line.

This kind of sh*t is just unavoidable and pisses me off. If your in a foreign place, then you can't assume your automatically safe to do whatever you want. You have to exercise some caution even if you are in party mode.

I was just in Cancun a week ago for a vacation and it was very busy b/c of the senior trips. Here is my advice to parents, don't ever let your kids go on one of these high school senior trips unless you are there too. The kids were understandably a little out of control. What scared me though was the chaperones were absolutely wasted, more so than the kids. It was a travesty to see these 45 y/o "parents" rooting for these kids to take tequila shots. I'm only 26 but I think I was 10X more responsible than 90% of the chaperones I saw.

I can't believe all these high schools going on senior trips to these places, considering what goes on. You would think you would opt for something a little safer and let them save that stuff for spring break in college. And we all know how many of those "good kids" who "would never do anything crazy" will do exactly that, especially when they don't think their parents will ever find out. Lots of parents have no idea what their teens are really up to. Of course, it doesn't help hearing stories like the above (that apparently some of the parents never even grew up either). Bottom line: it's not safe for anyone to get totally wasted in a strange place.

Yet another result of the modern day ill - parents worshipping their children and lavishing them with ridiculous amounts of expensive garbage in compensation for not giving them enough attention. It's keeping-up-with-the-Joneses by spoiling the common sense out of one's children.

Kids should be raised, not worshipped.

Just brutal. So he kicked her in the head because she kneed him to get him off of her. She was unconscious and he smashed her head "completely in" with a cinder block and carried her into the ocean to dispose of her body.

I'm glad her mom finally knows the truth. i cant imagine all the pain she has felt. It's still very sad that they will probably never find the remains.
