Nash said today on TV interviews with Dallas media (wfaa.com channel 8): "I know this is a business... maybe my time as a maverick is done, but we'll see." Please, oh please, Steve... go to Canada. DO NOT come south.
Actually not a bad idea; trade Nash + Walker for Carter and/or cash/draft picks. Imagine how good Dallas would be with Carter and Jamison starting and reunited. Their chemistry would be incredible. I don't care for Real GM at all, but just to visualize it: Strickland's a free agent in June, so that space would disappear, even though it's not a big contract.
That would be a horrible idea. The last thing Dallas needs is to have Carter and Jamison being the Charmin duo. Carter and Jamison didn't win anything in college. When you consider how injury prone Carter is, combined with the fact that Jamison can never find his niche, there is no way that duo would win anything in the NBA.
