The Dragon crew spacecraft looks like a prop from Interstellar.

What do you make of that odd resignation that just happened?

I hope it only has to do with Artemis and some of the odd contracts recently handed out -- I believe he will be in front of a Senate panel in the near future to answer those questions. Very bad timing regardless.

Awesome, but I always get anxious around these launches. Also happy to see some of this returning to the US, and seemingly more emphasis on the U.S. space program.

Do all these news reporters wear masks when reporting outside? Looks kind of odd.

I'm just trying to figure out the significance. We've done this before right. Feel like I need to see a passenger craft take some tourists up there, but without a giant rocket strapped under it's ass. This doesn't feel like public transport. Comes across as repackaging what we've already done.

Well, we've done it so long ago, and with such old technology, that this is, yes, redoing it, with similar physical concepts, but with much more advanced technology, and in time, more lift than we had in the early 1970's. (That's the best of my understanding.)

It's kind of like if you could once dunk a basketball and then tried to teach your grandkid to dunk a basketball 50 years later. People could say, "oh humans have dunked before."

... Okay, that is objectively one of my worst analogies in nearly 18 years of BBS activity.

Beyond the obvious of needing our own transportation to LEO and beyond -- flying on a Russian rocket would be like flying cross country on a Tu-95 Bear bomber -- our new spacecraft would be like flying in a 787.

In Costa Rica, there is another launch. I know a lot you will not see it, but ACME corp, Oscorp, and Gringotts joined forces with S.R. Hadden. Something is happening.

I would not like everything being touch screen looks awkward -- I'd prefer switches, dials, and knobs for the important stuff.
