I just have to say I love this anime. Does anyone else watch it? I started this thread because it seems that more and more people are starting watching this and thanx to advances in file sharing, it's gotten about as big as DBZ was a couple of years ago (really weird sight when the lobby of Jester at UT gets packed when DBZ is on). So I just want to find out if anyone else on the bbs watches this anime.

Naruto for me belongs on the things you know you shouldn't like, but you do anyway. And yes, I'm a closet Naruto fan. I love Jiraiya and to a lesser extent Kakashi. Fav. anime/manga of all time is Berserk though.

My friends are always downloading subtitled eps and then hooking the computer up to the tv to watch them. I don't like this show.

I too love this anime. To me this anime has everything you can look forward to. Very creative and good fighting scenes and is very comical at time. If you read the manga, it does not fully capture the action like the anime. To fully enjoy naruto, you have to watch at least a couple of episodes before you get hooked.

I initially didn't like it at the beginning(eps.1-4) or something like that but am now waiting every week to get this show. Trust me, it is well worth the wait.

Yeah, what I really like about this anime is just the in depth character developement it brings. There isn't a movie, series, anime, manga, anything made both local or abroad that has character developement that even comes close to it. Now, I know the fact that it's 80 episodes allows them to develope characters more throughly, but I've seen plenty of TV shows in the states and foreign that just doesn't do a good job in that aspect.

The only beef I had really was sometimes it does tend to drag a bit like the hokage and orichimaru scene. Overall though, I give this series a 9.5 out of 10. I highly recommend that anyone who could get a hold of the series watch it and give it a chance.
