C : Ming 7-5 PF : MoTaylor 6-9 SF : Gabe 6-7 SG : Pike 6-6 PG : Francis 6-3 This line up would be very exciting on the offence, it may struggle on the defence. With JVG teachings everyones defence should improve however. If you throw in the Cat it is even a better line up but I really want Pike too excel on this team. I hope Pike can put some pressure on the Cat for the starting position.
trade cat and griffin for SAR francis pike SAR cato ming I know,I know, Cato isnt a pf. But JVG will play zone and if "faster" pf's like Garnett or Dirk are on the three point line shooting,then we rotate and have SAR guard him with Cato and Ming still under the basket for boards/blocks. Cato would play the "thorpe" role. SAR would play the "Horry" role.
Dude, you realize it would take a miracle for Gabe to make the team, and that's a good thing. Wilks is the only one of those 5 "training camp fodder" group that has a decent shot at making the team as our 3rd point gaurd. BTW, it's good he's not going to make the team considering his terrible career since leaving Texas. This isn't college anymore, and he had a "so-so" career there. He has no perimiter game.... well I should stop, he won't make the team.
my choice isn't that much different than what we expect: yao griff griff cat steve starting adrian gives us a yet another spark off the bench in pike. and makes this line-up one of the best defencive teams in te nba.

You honestly believe that Pike would be an improvement over Cat...No way!!! Pike will add something to the team but come on, in no way is he better than Cat.
