Since we all know the starters, who would you put on the reserves? Here's mine:

    West:
Steve Nash G 1st half MVP
Ray Allen G 31-13 -> Leading pacific by 8 games
Dirk Nowitzki F #3 in PPG -> team in 5th in WC
    Chris Webber F Solid 20 & 10 & 5 assts a night
Amare Stoudemire F/C Becoming a great player (b/c Nash)
Manu Ginobilli G Great energy player who is fearless
    Elton Brand F/C Finally Clips are over .500, solid 20 & 10

    East:
Steve Francis G 22/7/7 -> Orl more W's than all last yr.
    Dwayne Wade G Enough said
    Jermaine O'neal F/C Solid
    A. Jamison F Turned around Wiz
Zydrunas Ilgauskas C Solid plus not enough BIG men in East
    G. Arenas G Wow, has been amazing this season
Rip Hamilton G Defending Champs deserve a representative (Ben Wallace not having a great yr, below 10 PPG and caused ridiculous brawl by overeacting to a WNBA type foul)

I might add Okafor to the East and take off Hamilton.

    East:
    Francis
    Wade
    Hamilton
    Arenas
    J O'neal
    Jamison
    Ben Wallace

i know it are 4 guards. But i feel they deserve it. I wanted to include Jeferson, but he is injured.

    West:
    Nash
    Allen
    Nowitzki
    stoudamire
    Pau Gasol
    Brand
    Webber
I wanted to include ginobilli, but i think that these 7 deserve it. I'm not a big fan of Webber. but his team is winning and Peja is not having a great year.

why do yo select Hughes over Arenas? i tought about hughes, but i think Arenas is the better player this year. any specific reason you think Hughes deserves it more?

Arenas is a scoring machine but to me Hughes is having the better all around season. He's the shooting guard yet still averages more assists than him, he's playing defense, shooting better, and the Wizards are below .500 without him. I think at least two of the three have to go, maybe Antawn Jamison is the odd man out, but he probably deserves it more than the other two.

Like I said, some players who deserve to go are always left out, anyway don't we all enjoy the revenge games the snubs have after someone else gets a spot they think they deserved? It's awesome, hopefully the Rockets aren't on any of their schedules.

i would put Hughes on if he's not hurt. The guy is having an amazing all-around year. He's doing everything and leading the league in steals by a large margin last i checked.

    West Reserves

    Guards SNash / RAllen
    Forwards SMarion / Dirk
    Center BMiller

    2 Floaters RLewis / EBrand

my thinking is this.. we have to fill the reserves spots w/ players listed in those spots. Plus 3 guys from the same team seems like too much. (Suns) Seattle / Spurs should also get more respresentation then. I added BMiller since he is listed as a C and the Kings are still a strong team and if CWebb doesnt make it someone from their team should.

RLewis is having a breakout year and his team in at the top of the conference. EBrand has been snubbed for too long and now his team is respectable and he is a 20/10 guy playing both ends of the court.

    East Reserves

    Guards SF3 / DWade
    Forwards JOneil / PPierce
    Center BWallace

    2 Floaters GArenas / AJamison

My thinking behind this is that BWallace is listed as a C and that Detroit is stil one of the top teams in the league and should be represented properly.

GArenas/AJamison have turned that franchise around and deserve these spots.

    WEST:

    G Ray Allen
    G Steve Nash
    F Shawn Marion
    C Amare Stoudemire
    G Manu Ginobili
    F Dirk Nowitzki
    F Chris Webber

Really-really-really tough to put on three Suns and leaving off Rashard Lewis. Amare and Nash are no brainers, but I feel that Marion is really the unsung hero and thus should be added.. Marion is averaging more points, rebs, stls and blocks than Lewis as a third option!

    EAST:

    G Steve Francis
    G Dwyane Wade
    G Kirk Hinrich
    F Antwan Jamison
    F Rip Hamilton
    G Gilbert Arenas
    C Jermaine O'Neal

I went really small in the East, but with the players who I think are most-deserving. I really think Larry Hugh's play has been the difference for Washington... he is the ex-factor for that team and it's a shame he won't be able to participate if voted in. Having Vince Carter starting really mucks things up for Washington, who like Phoenix, has three deserving players. Also, players like Hinrich, Rip Hamilton, and even Ilgauskas get shafted, all of whom deserve it more than Vince.
