could u guys post here the lottery that u think will be in 2003.... ...and name the teams too mine is like this :: 1) (Denver) LeBron James 2) (Cleveland) Chris Duhorn 3) (Golden State) Kirk Hinrich 4) (Wizards) Chris Bosh 5) (Seattle) Charlie Villanueva 6) (Chicago) Carmelo Anthony 7) (Milwaukee) James White 8) (New York) Nick Collison 9) (Miami) Kendrick Perkins 10) (Utah) TJ Ford 11) (Phoenix) Luke Rindour 12) (Toronto) Dwayne Wade 13) (Indiana) Chris Marcus
1. James 2. Anthoney 3. Perkins 4. Bosh 5. Duhon 6. Marcus 7. White 8. Ford 9. Hinrich 10. Ridenour or Collison????? I don't know much about the European influence next year. Could be staggering, if this year's picks perform like Gasol did last year. James is the only probable no-brainer. Ford's got a lot of upside; and could go top 5 if he steps up his scoring some. The insider's say Carmello's the real deal. Perkins is supposed to have a body for the nba, too. The KU guys (Hinrich and Collison) could go high if Kansas wins another 30 games and Gooden turns into a steal. Other than my comments, I have no clue; just what I've read. Who knows?????? Interesting topic, though.
hej hardeji nice post...but Chris Marcus in #6 ???? I think that Marcus will fall out of lottery... so I have heard too that Carmelo is thereal deal but I think that he won't go that high.....because all of the "****ty teams" dont need a SF...
What's up with Hinrich as the 3rd spot. Are you kidding me this guy won't amount to Trajan Langdon. You're joking right?
I readed a few articles about player rankings fron the experts and my mock is now like this...: 1) (Denver) LeBron James 2) (Cleveland) Chris Duhorn 3) (Golden State) Kendrick Perkins 4) (Wizards) Chris Bosh 5) (Seattle) James White 6) (Chicago) Carmelo Anthony 7) (New York) Charlie Villanueva 8) (Milwaukee) Kirk Hinrich 9) (Toronto) Nick Collison 10) (Utah) TJ Ford 11) (Miami) Luke Rindour 12) (Detroit) Dwayne Wade 13) (Indiana) James Lang
Can u tell me some of the trades that have been made in the 2003 draft... i know just that *Detroit recievs Memphis' 1 round pick. *Boston recievs Philadelphia' 1 round pick. *Atlanta recievs Indianas 1 round pick. _____________________________ Maggette will be 2003/04 seasons most improved player
CHRIS BOSH, PERKINS??? They are NOWHERE near ready. After Kwame, Tyson, and Eddy, don't expect HS players or early entries to be picked lottery (exception Lebron) And Chris Duhon at #2 would be one of the worst picks of all time This whole mock is a freaking joke other than the 1st pick...
hej tozai u really think that Perkins and Bosh won't be in lottery?!?!?!?! do u wanna' bet Did u expect that Curry,Chandler and Kwame will produce right away?!?!?!?! guess again
i heard james white might be getting the jim pt wise this year cus of that euro christian dejo or something like that . . . wonder that'll do for his position . . . i mean he's a skywalker, don't get me wrong, just curious . . . but tsika got drafted w/ no pt, so i dunno
It's way too early to tell. From first glance though it looks like a really weak draft. If anything that just means more potential suprise picks. The last few year has taught us to except some foreign players to jump into the lotto (how many of us would have put nick t. and hilario last year at this time), esp. if this year's foreign crop does well. Also besides lebron, it's possible that one or more or either perkins, ndudi ebi, james lang, or jackie battle enter the draft. With a good senior year and some hype from workouts, all of these guys could be lotto picks next year. While guys like emeka okafor, tj ford, and james white all might be high first round picks, there no way to know whether or not they'll come out. Also how will the freshman do and will they come out. Having said that, here are ten american players who i think will go mid to high first round if they come out. Kirk Hinreich Nick Collison Emeka Okafor Kenderick Perkins Raymond Felton Carmelo Anthony Chris Duhon Ndi Ebi Lebron James Andre Brown
I didn't expect Curry, CHandler or Kwame to produce instantly. The point is, unless the kid looks like a stud(Lebron) people aren't going to be so likely to waste lottery picks. Kendrick Perkins is nowhere even CLOSE to ready. I'm sure you've never even seen this kid play. You probably went to NBAdraft.net and are one of those pathetic kids who jock hyped up players without even seeing them. Recite by memory all your favorite recruiting analyst's thoughts, because you don't know what you're talking about. Do you even live in Houston? You probably couldn't even tell me what team Perkins went to without looking it up? Do you know who he played in the 4A championship? Do you know what happened to him? What about at the Academy tournament? You don't know a thing, so stop talking ignorantly. You're making a fool of yourself talking so matter-of-factly that Perkins is a Lotto pick. Maybe he will be, but it would have to be an awfully dumb GM to do so. The only way that Bosh or Perkins would be lottery is because next year's draft is ridiculously weak. I would bet you that Bosh & Perkins won't be lottery, but how would I?
Can I get in on this bet? Lol...Bosh and Perkins = bust. Did u see the McDonald's All-American game? Bosh sucks. That is all.
I'll bet the bulls wish they'd have gone with Battier instead of the 2 benchwarmers. Yeah, I can't imagine that someone'll take a chance on another high school crybaby with the talent that'll be on the board. Go Collision.
damn i forgot some guys....who will probobly be in the lottery...like Ricky Paulding , Jason Fraser , Jarvis Hayes and even Chris Thomas could be in the lottery.
my new and improved mock is : 1) (Denver) LeBron James (the actual first pick) 2) (Phoenix*) Chris Duhorn ( Phoenix.....?!?!?!?) 3) (Golden State) Kendrick Perkins (They need a big man) 4) (Wizards) Carmelo Anthony (Wizards get the actual prize) 5) (Seattle) Chris Bosh (Seattle hopes that he will turn into Lewis) 6) (Chicago) Charlie Villanueva (....why...?....because it is Krause) 7) (New York) James White (Second year that the NYK get lucky) 8) (Denver*) Chris Thomas (Kiki wants a unselfish PG with LeBron) 9) (Toronto) Nick Collison (If he is still on the board....hes gone) 10) (Utah) Kirk Hinrich (Utah likes white PGs) 11) (Miami) Luke Rindour (Miami needs a floor general) 12) (Detroit*) Dwayne Wade (2'nd comeing on Stack ?!?!) 13) (Atlanta*) TJ Ford (they won't be happy with Dicau)
