leave Boki alone damit, he played good last night. He's just trying to get his team involved thats all BUT yea he should have shot thoughs shots rather than pass them. I cant hate on him 4 that though.
These were in 2nd quarter of 1st half. I think Boki played well in the 1st half. He was in no way timid.
BOKI is progressing quite well, his Game is starting to show promise. Please remember he is European and not American, so please dont judge his mentality as though he was an American.
Boki is playing very well considering that HE WAS BURIED ON THE BENCH by RT last year. Basically this is his rookie season and he has better hops and athletic ability than I thought...not to mention a sweet shot and pretty good handles. You can see JVG working him into the rotation, giving him more and more PT. He's gaining confidence and I look for good things once he gets more accustomed to the NBA.
I jumped out of my seat when Francis assisted Boki on the fast break dunk... that was highlight reel ****. I jumped out of my seat several times in the final few minutes, too, but not for Boki...
Gee. Imagine being a young European man learning the ropes on an NBA team with weak personalities like SF, Cat, Cato, Taylor and Norris. Not a grown up in the bunch. Boki will assert himself before the year is out. He just needs time. Jackson is the closest thing to an elder statesman this team has had since Willis left. Rice was apparently dissed by the the 3 Amigos as he could not earn any respect on and therefore off the court. Jackson may be the guy to earn that leadership role on the floor and therefore off as well. Kind of ironic considering his early career immaturity. Just wait, there are good things yet to come from Boki.
Boki shoots what, 50% from behind the arc? That 2-handed thunder dunk off the break was SWEET last night. He pump-faked an outside shot and drove to the hoop, too. Looks like his outside shooting is being seen around the league, and opening things up for his slashing & driving. I like Boki.
I was just happy to see him drive to the rim, and not just shoot the 3 all the time. Can't wait to see more of his slashing ability.
Too bad once Pike and AGriff get back Boki will likely be right back to being buried at the end of the bench.
No way. I don't think Pike'll eat too many of Boki's minutes. Maybe more of Jim Jackson's & Mobley's. And who knows when AGriff's gonna come back?
I agree, and also, take into account that Pike and AG are new to the team, and I suspect they'll have to show their worth before getting automatic playing time-at least to the point of NOT playing BOKI. Boki has earned his time, he's playing hard, smart, and is determined to get better and help the team. And best of all, he is UNSELFISH. He knows where he's going with the ball before it gets to him.
I doubt that. Boki really looks to be getting some confidence. He really took the ball to the basket strong last night with two outstanding finishes in the half court offense and another terrific dunk from a Francis assist as a trailer on the break. Plus Boki has been playing outstanding defense so far this year. And the guy can block shots. I absolutely think that he is our starting small forward of the future.
Aaaahh... Boki praise... and everyone was telling me this offseason that I was stupid for hyping up a untested Euro with ZERO defense and that he would be a no talent scrub like Collier and Langhi. I dont normally rub it in....but hahaha...I was right, you were wrong.. god, I hope I didnt just jinx him
boki's definately gonna be 12th man material when a griffin and pike comes back. hell. even padjett's done for unless he becomes our most reliable spot up three point shooter. ( ala steve kerr).
