I just checked out http://www.nba.com/playerfile/bostjan_nachbar/index.html and it says that Nachbar is the Nike Basketball Baller of the week. That is quite an accomplishment for a guy who gets limited playing time. I truly believe Nachbar is full of potential.

Then Yao, Amare and a lot of player are Nike Baller of the Week. So it's not a big accomplishment since almost everyone gets it.

Nothing says, "C'mon coach, put me in, I'm ready!!" like a pair of Nachbars... Steve Francis NEVER gets the Nike baller of the week award! Man, even shoe companies hate him.
You don't say? I always wondered why Francis was in those commercials with "Rbk" at the end... Come to think of it, Kobe averaged over 40 points per game for a long stretch and never got the Nike baller of the week either...stupid shoe companies wouldn't know a good baller if one slapped them on the grill...
Yeah, it's only there for Nike basketball players. Vince Carter and Yao Ming have it, as do Dirk and Nash. Funny though.
NBA.com shouldn't do that. It tricks people into believing that that thing that says Baller of the Week into believing that that player is the baller of the week. Instead, they should say, "a link to find out how is the baller for this week."
