I haven't seen this posted anywhere. It looks like we're going to get some looks at our other rookie. http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Nachbar_Activated_Taylor_Plac-72644-34.html
finally a smart move. give him a start and let's see what the kid can do with significant PT against NBA level comp.
so the only real reason that I watched the whole frickin game tonight was to see boki play in an nba game. Well, I made it through the first quarter and thought, "Larry wants to win the last game in the Summit, that's cool. As soon as we get a good lead he'll put in Boki" It hit the second quarter and I saw Rice playing and thought, "It's cool, he wants to let the whole team get some minutes. Hell, he has T-Mo playing the four so that would have to free up minutes for Boki at the three." Jump past the third to the fourth quarter. I am looking at a children's book. the person is familiar, he is wearing a red and white striped shirt and thick rimmed glasses, but the name of the book is hard to make out. After another beer I realize what the title is WHERE'S BOKI????????????
I bet they dare not to play boki now. imagine what if he scores 25 and grab 15 rebounds in the rest of the season? what the fan will think about the coach? or what les will think.
Hope Mo's injury isn't anything serious. Read that he should be off his foot for 4 weeks. Hopefully he won't balloon back up. Be smart this offseason Mo! As for Boki...glad he has a chance to play against Denver. I did not expect him to play against the Grizz in the final Compaq Center game as I am sure the Rockets really wanted to win that game and play the starters a fair amount of time. But the Denver game...seems like a great opportunity to play Boki. Heck put him in against his former teammate in Skita. T-Mo and Boki should get decent minutes in the Denver game.
Has Morris always been able to shoot like this? What happened to that timid rookie that airballed wide open jumpers? It should be interesting to see how the small forward logjam is handled...
T-Mo is nails. It seems that he has been only given sporadic minutes this year, but everytime he comes in, he seems warmed up and ready to go. We need to bring him back.
I have been screaming for TMO all year, he is shooting around 48% for the year. I don't see why the coaches can not find minutes for a well rounded player like TMo....he is long, can pass, and plays good defense. Oh, never mind, I think I just answered my own question. DD
man i really thought that nachbar had a great game. He was able to keep the bench motivated in a game that had to be hard to keep his team into. I am so glad that we activated him. It just wasn't the same when he was on the i.r.. Mo I hope you give your savior a big doobie for his efforts...
Uhh yeah! He did a terrific job serving the team! He was very valuable tonight! MAN...don't y'all know? Terence Morris has always shot like that. He is a great shooter. Perfect. Much better than Griffin at least. His inside game isn't that great, though. He will always be just a 3rd stringer. I hope they resign him.
Nice shooting by Morris tonight. =( Why bother activating Nachbar if you aren't going to play him???!!?!?!?
