First off, it was a bad viewpoint, real bad. Section 203 (corner or the backboard) Row T bad. Behind me was the wall. Michael Vick wouldn't be able to throw a football to me from the floor, let alone Turbo trying to sling those t-shirts up there, thus I had no clue why people around me were standing up like they were gonna catch something. The distance caused me to confuse Cato with Dream, DAnderson with SElliot, and whole bunch of other guys. Bullard was the only guy I could spot with ease.

The power dancers were cool. I know a lot of y'all say they're ugly up close buy from where I was at they looked pretty hot. I guess you'd classify them as drivers, maybe sand wedges. Didn't really get to debate their hotness though since it was my dad and I at the game.

While on that subject, it's because of my dad that I couldn't get better seats. I was telling him the whole 2nd quarter that we should move up cause the place was half empty. But he was like no, the ushers won't let us. Absolutely no depth perception the entire game from up there. I can tell if a shot goes left or right, but airball vs swish I had no clue.

And the crowd up there was pretty cool too. Lots families with tons of kids. They're noisier up top too, though no where near an Aggies game. The crowd below needs to represent or something. All they do is golf clap and make a little noise in the 4th. They need to watch a Kings home game and see how it's done.

The only problem was that there were quite a few spurs fans up there. One in particular right below me was a smartass heckler who had to make some stupid comment on EVERY play. I wanted to bust him in the mouth so bad, but as a said, my dad was with me. Man, Jan 13th vs Kings when me and my boys will be there, I will personally see to it that no Kings fans will be talking noise around me. Ou, I felt like hitting that guy so bad.

As for the game, Moochie looked pretty good. Dream was productive, but I miss his days of greatness so much. Cuttino sucked but was injured. Mo can shoot, but ain't Duncan level offensively. I have no idea why Bullard was in there if they didn't set plays for him to shoot 3's. That man is a huge defensive liability. In the 4th, no matter who he was guarding, that was the guy the Spurs isolated. Same thing when Langhi came in. Why were the Spurs attacking the white guys so much? Their offense was either Duncan, or whoever was guarded by a white guy. Overall the Rockets were ok, but I came to realize during the game that Stevie Francis is the heart and soul of the team. He's the leader, and I think they would've come much closer with him out there, and if the Refs didn't suck ass either.

I also realized that without Francis the Rocks suck pretty bad. I mean that was the most boring basketball game I have seen in a long time. I remember in 96 I saw them play the Clipps and it was a 120-113 final. The thing was they were fun to watch. The crowd was full and in it much more then too. So the sucky crowd does have legit claim to stay sucky. I just wish I could of seen Francis play. Thank goodness they got him too cause imagine if they never did, all the games would be like this. My word! It was 51-50 late in the 3rd. So my main point is the experience wasn't entertaining, so I understand why fans ain't coming. So be it that it only cost me $10, I'd rather of watched a movie. The Dancers were cool, and so was the timeout/halftime stuff, but without Francis, I don't think I'd be into the Rocks anymore. I hope that's not the case, but I'm glad his absence is only temporary.

Man I have always had BAD Memories of the Alamodome. I am not a rowdy rowdy fan, but I represent. The times I went to the Dome - which by the way the Rockets ALWAYS won - I was nearly thrown out because the Spurs fans were the WORST. During our championship years they tore up my signs, they stole my Olajuwon MVP towel and threw it across the way, they yelled at me, and were just plain RUDE. One time, I orderded a beer and they wouldnt pass it down because I was a Rockets fan. However, I will never forget, after beating the Spurs during the 95 Playoffs, the satisfaction I had of being part of the Pep rally inside the dome. For that I will ALWAYS HATE THE SPURS. I nearly got into a fight when an ignorant Spurs fan wanted to fight me because the Rockets won. I will NEVER go to the Alamodome ever again.
