My mock draft(includes HS expected to skip collge ball). This is the scariest draft class in NBA history provided a lot of people declare early(which they will). Lets put it this way, if Stromile Swift was inb this draft class, he would have been picked 9!!!
    Name NBA comparison-notes
1.Eddy Currry- He will be the first HS player to be picked #1..scary. He is known as Baby Shaq cuz of his game's simularities to shaq's.

2.Loren Woods- After playing behind Duncun,he transfered to Zona and no he's a star. He'll be #1 if Curry chooses college

3.Tyson Chandler: Another HS!He in my mind will be the 2nd best player to come out of this draft. He is basically a krim and a Wilt....who can shoot 3's!

    4. Gerald Wallace- This guy was the #1 HS this past season(in front of Miles and stephenson) and in a normal yr would easily be picked #1. This guy has as much if not more upside as Micheal Jordan.

5.Brendan Haywood- Another Shaq playalike! I guess since the Jordan act got old, every one would "like to be like shaq"

    6. Carlos Boozer: Yet another phenomanol center. Except his game is simular to Tim Duncun. In a normal year, he also would be a 1st pick

    7. Troy Murphy: WOW!! Troy Murphy being picked 7? He is a rich man's Keith Van Horn and also, in a normal year, would be picked 1 or 2.

    8. Jason Williams- Another Jason Williams to add to the league. This guy is ba better passer then the one already in the NBA though and can score. HE led Duke to being one of the top teams. He, like Boozer, is also from Duke.

9.Eddie Griffen- Another Duncun playalike! He's a power forward with an extremely fluent game. He was #2 in last year's HS class behind Wallace (in front of stephenson and miles)

    10. Joe Forte-This guy led UNC to the final four in his freshman year. He is used to powerful programs, coming from DeMatha HS and going to UNC. He would have been top 3 easliy in the 2000 draft.

    11. Zach Randolph- He, you could say, is a post-bloated Shawn Kemp. That is still extremely good. He can hit the 3, take his man to the basket, and is extemely large and fast. Brings a new meaning to the word fat.

    12. Terrence Morris- He is Steve Francis's best friend, so u gotta like him! His game is simular to T-mAcs,Rashad Lewis, and u get my point. The classic 6'10 athletic SF. He is a very talented player and, if things dont work out for the rockets this yr or they trade up, will be a perfect pick.

    REst of the First Round

13.Drew Gooden- HE"S VERY GOOD AND WOULD BE A PERFECT PICK IN HOUSTON ALSO.He would have been picked over miles and fizer last year EASLIY. Biggest sleeper in the draft although, due to this draft class, every one in front of him is better.
    14.Vincent Yarbrough
    15. Joe Johnson #1 from Arkansas (there are 2 Joe johnsons in this draft)
    16.Shane Battier
    17. Jamal Tinsley
    18. Jason Kapono
    19. Jason Gardner
    20. Kenny Satterfield
    21. Chris Duhon- sleeper
    22. Jason Parker- the last player in this draft who has the potential to become an all-star
23.Kaspars Kambala-finally, a normal player. He's still a very good player, but he's not an absolute freak like evryone in fron of him. This is where u would have seen Demarr Johnson picked (ok, i might be exagerrating a little)
    24.Dan Grudzaric
    25.Casey Jacobson
    26.Richard Jefferson
    27.Antawn Jones
    28. Adam Harrington
    29. Lavell Blanchard

please reply if u disagree with anything or you just plain out hat my mock.

He's "Baby Shaq" because he's huge and still growing. He's got more skills than Shaq at this point in their careers.

I know I'm gonna be sorry I asked this, but what the heck is a "krim"?

Hey if have four picks next year, I say we trade three of em to get in the top four, and then save one to draft this best friend of Francis. Yeah Yeah I know its too early to tell who is going to get picked where, but Im just dreaming okay. So leave me alone!

If the class is so strong, then I'd expect some kids who would normally declare early to stay in school another year. Mostly the draw to declare early is from being projected so high, but if you're projected to go 15th because the draft is so deep, why declare? Wait till next year when you'd go 5th. (Unless, of course, you don't want to play for the Clippers.)

I think everyone knew who you meant.

Thanks for giving me some names to look out for this year. It took more thought, effort and guts to post your thread, than it did to correct your spelling. Keep it up!! And Thanks again
