Well its official. My subwoofer (for my home theater) has to be put down. The damn fuse keeps blowing as soon as I plug the damn thing in and the manufacturers website says that when that happens the amp is gone. They also say that when the amp goes that the speaker usually is gone too. I called around about getting it fixed and they want $90 to diagnose it.

    Uh no.

So now I need a new sub woofer. Anyone have any suggestions? I dont care to spend a whole lot of money $150 - $250. I prefer $150 but I am doubting that I get anything decent for that amount of money. I dont need anything real powerful since we moved into an apartment when we moved from Houston to Indy. Not only is the living room smaller, I dont care to piss off the jerkoffs downstairs anymore than I already do.

Actually, the jerkoffs downstairs are moving out in January so screw em. :D :D

    Any advice would be great.

Hey, I've had velodyne for 10 years now. You can get the Velodyne VX 10, a 10 inch sub with 100 rms and 150 dynamic power. It's onsale for $199 now ($100 off) at Tweeter.

I would love to get a velodyne. I have heard nothing but really good things about them.

Did you send your sub woofer out to play when your starting dog got tired?
