He doesn't even bother to turn off his PS2 when he's done playing. He will just click the A/V mode button on the TV remote and keep the PS2 on all the time while he watches TV, sleeps, etc.. That can't be good for a PS2, can it? I don't see how anyone can have a lazier roommate.
I'm so lazy sometimes that I'll grab a glass from the cabinet, fill it with water, and pour it into the dog's water bowl that is sitting in the floor. It just seems like way too much work to actually bend over, pick up the bowl, and fill it at the sink.
Oh my gosh, YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA!!! I could swear you got cameras in my dorm room and are talking about my roomate. Let me give you a list of things he does/doesn't do to prove I have the laziest roomate of them all. My roomate: - 3 seperate occasion he has, indeed, left floaters in the toilet (claims he just forget to flush) - has switched bed sheets once since last August - has used the same shower towel since August, mayyybe switched once - never ever turns off the bathroom light (I guess it's too hard to reach out) - he always, always leaves his books and clothes just lying all around the floor - they just pile up in seperate piles all over the room - once went over a month without a bar of soap because he was too worthless to go out and buy another - he skips most his classes and MAYBE once a week gets out of bed before 12:00 - he plays World of Warcraft the majority of the day and into the early morning - he leaves cups and cups of empty stuff - some cups are filled with spit (dipper) Hmmm, I'm leaving stuff off....if it's something classified as laziness, my roomate slob has most likely done/not done it.
just for the record - in my 2 years of being at my university, i haven't used sheets, just the mattress and a blanket - yep, same blanket unwashed for the 2 years. but yeh, you're roommate sounds like an exaggerated version of me - except that i have my own room - so it doesn't affect others.
I'm so lazy, I didn't bother to search to see if this really is the first time you've posted in a long time.
Bathroom cleaning dispute led to homicide, police say Suspect in case still at large in death of roommate By Tony Plohetski AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF Saturday, March 12, 2005 Austin police on Friday charged a man with murder after they said he shot and killed his roommate during a dispute about who would clean the bathroom. Robert Gomez Fernandez, 29, was arrested Friday night. He is charged with intentional murder, a first-degree felony, in the death of Miguel Angel Elvira Mora, 31, of Mexico, at their Springdale Road apartment Thursday night. According to a probable cause affidavit filed Friday, another roommate told police he was in the kitchen of the apartment when he heard a "heated argument" between Fernandez and Mora. Then he said he heard a shot and saw Fernandez seconds later flee through the front door. He said he went into the living room and saw Mora on the floor, bleeding from the head. The roommate said he ran out of the apartment and saw Fernandez leaving in his black Ford F-150 pickup, the affidavit said. A doctor at Brackenridge Hospital pronounced Mora dead a short time later. Police also interviewed a fourth roommate, who said he was on the lower level of the apartment at the time of the shooting and later saw that Mora had been shot. He told police that Fernandez and Mora had been arguing about cleaning the bathroom for two days. Austin police spokeswoman Laura Albrecht said Fernandez was arrested shortly after 9 p.m. in Bastrop by the department's intelligence unit and U.S. marshal deputies. http://www.statesman.com/metrostate...turday/metro_state_24233a5656b3e00e0088.html#
My roommate: -leaves floaters every time he goes to the bathroom because he doesn't give the old courtesy flush... -hasn't switched bed sheets in 2 years -has used the same shower towel all year; hasn't done his own laundry EVER (waits for sh*t to pile up then takes it home over the weekend after a month or so to have his mom do it) -has so much crap lining the floor that he uses his bed to store his clothes: when he wants to sleep, he throws the pile onto his chair; when he wants to sit, he throws the pile back onto his bed. this is done with the clothes he wears everyday; his other clothes (dirty AND clean) are strewn about the room in random piles mixed with his receipts (packrat) and papers from 3 years ago...and his xbox, ps2, gamecube games AND his Ipod accessories...basically his whole life is on the floor. -routinely goes days at a time without touchin a bar of soap; this includes never washing his face (unless it's shower time), brushing his teeth once a day on average, and using AXE once a week to try to cover the BO... -I found a cup of .... something lying under his bed while I was doing some spring cleaning...there were dead flies in it as well as a thin film of scuzz or mold or somethin..the smell made me puke... -refuses to throw out brown stained tighties and leaves THOSE lying on the floor for all to see... -invests more time into being cheap (slickdeals.net, fatwallet, etc) and sitting in front of the computer than into personal hygiene, studyin, and sleepin...combined. (one time i counted how long he spent in front of the computer...I was sick and bedridden and had nothin better to do...it was 8 hours in front of comp, 2 of those spent jus starin at the damn screen). -never pays for anythin (not really lazy, but peeves me off to no end) i'm curious, do you go to UT? your roommate sounds like someone I know....
Damn.... I thought I was the only one who so unfortunate to have such an annoyingly lazy roomate. I'm sorry you have to deal with that ha, I feel you pain, but I'm also glad I'm not the only one. A lot of the things you described, my roomate is the same in a similar fashion. I think we got everyone else beat. And no, I go to SMU - guess there's a worthless lazyass everywhere.
