My 22 YO nephew is coming back to the US from Iraq on February 2nd. We understand that his unit is already out of Iraq. He was there six months. He was a 50-caliber gunner on a humvee. Somebody at church announced that their nephew is going back for his third tour of duty in Iraq. Strange. It has to be Bush's fault...

Glad he's coming back safe, giddy. I wish my cuz would quit muckin' around in Afghanistan and the area. He's not in the military, but what he's doing is dangerous. Bloody hell. We should pay our troops what he's making. They deserve it!
The owner of the company I work for has a son that is going back for the 3rd time AFTER he gets back from this tour.. I'm not sure what he does, but I know he goes on many raids in Iraq.. It's sad, because from what my boss tells me his son was looking forward to staying at home after coming back for the second time..
My buddy Chris's brother finished up his tour and then went back as a privately hired security agent. He's making serious cash now, but lots of risk involved. Glad your nephew is making it back. No matter what anything thinks about the war, we all want our boys (and gals) back. Stupid politics dont have any impact on that, no matter what the media and DC idiots spin at us.
