I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
As we arrive at Espace I'm on the verge of tears as I'm certain we won't get a decent table. But we do; relief washes over me in an awesome wave.
I made a joke when I read that somebody put a baby in a dryer cuz I got no character. When somebody got run over by a car I was sad cuz I didn't kill him myself.
I can't tell if someone is playing a joke on baqui99 or not, trying to reveal personal information of his... so I'm playing it safe.
I guess that makes one of us that hasn't seen the flick I restored the original post... I thought someone was trying to embarrass you... lol.
Interesting hygiene baqui99. "But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite."
Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP, called simply Whitney Houston, had four #1 singles on it? Did you know that, Clutch? It's hard to choose a favorite amongst so many great tracks. But The Greatest Love of All is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries, instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since, Clutch, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message. Crucial, really. And it's beautifully stated on the album.
You know, I've been wanting to read American Psycho but everyone I know that has read it tells me it is extremely disturbing and difficult to get through. Is it really that bad?
It's ok, parts of it are sick but it's readable, it is fiction. The biggest problem I had with it was that it was the same repetitive bullsh-t over and over again midway through and hence about 100 pages too long - and I read it in the middle of a 14 hour bus ride in central Laos, so I wasn't exactly a tough audience.
i'm amazed i got the quote and others didn't considering i've only seen the movie once and didn't even like it that much (though for some reason that intro did stick out). at first i thought Clutch's initial post was a joke i wasn't getting. having said that, lets hope this doesn't take us down the slippery slope of becoming like the Cactus Cafe where half the threads are of the "post a quote from a movie, then the rest of the posts are just quotes from the same movie" variety.
No, please, reading the same Monty Python/Airplane/Caddyshack quotes for the n-th time is awesome. Ever see a grown man naked?
btw, i did like American Psycho, not really a repeating viewing movie, but good nonetheless but has anybody seen "Rules of Attraction"? I found it as an odd movie, but still good. Its the one where James Van Der Beek plays Jason Bateman's younger brother, Sean. I heard they filmed a scene where Sean has a phone conversation with Patrick, but never made it in the movie.
