The thing is I started drinking almost a year and half ago and im already feeling the effects. Alcohol has turned my life upside down.
(Probably) more important: how often do you black out? (edit: I guess you meant that with the "binge drink" term) Things being fuzzy isn't the same. I'm talking straight-up BLACK the F out.
Everyday, 8-10 shots of whisky, vodka or what I get my hands on that has 40% or more alcohol. If it doesn't I don't even **** with it. Only at parties
Everyday you have 8-10 drinks? That pretty much qualifies as binge drinking everyday. How often do you go to parties and how much do you drink then?
Blacking out from drinking is much more extreme than binge drinking....but yeah that would be another good question to ask too.
When I was younger I use to go to parties a lot, but now I just chill at home with my Bottle. I still go out to parties on special occasions like halloween, Christmas or friend's birthday.
Hmmm...I guess we have different definitions of "binge" then. I don't know anyone that can truly "binge" drink and remember what happened the next day. In my darker days, I would black out 3-4 times per week...I drank until I literally couldn't lift the glass to my mouth anymore (for that particular day). Everyone has their own tolerance and threshold...but you ain't binging if you ain't blacking out, IMO.
Well on the bright side, at least you don't have a huge vintage collection of Star Trek memorabilia for sale. That would be hitting rock bottom for sure.
That explains some things.... Your liver is going to hate you. Keep drinking like that, and there's a good chance that you'll eventually develop cirrhosis and/or pancreatitis.
The hangovers I get are too nasty for me to ever become an alcoholic. Stomach can't take it. If you are trying to change, I wish you well, GlenRice.
