My Music, Soulseek, Limewire all Corrupted! *Help!*

My Music, Soulseek, Limewire all Corrupted! *TECHIES HELP ME!*

A while back I noticed that a folder on my PC "Nicoles Music" had everything dissappear from it.
It was strange but okay, since it wasnt any of my music, but this morning something more strange happened.
I checked my Soulseek, and Limewire folders and they were both corrupted and unreadable!!!
Now I dont keep or download a lot of music in there, mainly i just download pictures and videos to there.
Also I havent really used Limewire in a long time. But when I found my soulseek folder empty I quickly checked Limewire.
My Music folder that I renamed to "Bryan's Beats" still lays unharmed.

My questions are:

1) Is there anyway to restore the data?

2) should I just reformat my hard drive and start clean?
