My almost 3 year old son took a header off his bed at 9:30 and got one of those knots like you see in fights on boxer's heads when it swells up instantly and they call the fight. My wife took him to the ER. I'm stuck at home with the baby and no info.
Yeah, he'll probably be alright. I got one of those falling out of a wagon when I was about 3 and nearly gave my mom a heart attack. She said it looked like somebody had implanted a golf ball under my scalp. I turned out alright!
Relax bro, I sure he'll be alright. What's life with kids without trips to the ER. I'll pray for him anyways.
Why isn't there any videos of your kid hitting his head? Yeah tasteless and getting old. sorry dude. but i'm sure hell be fine. I'll pray for him.
Hope he is okay. Head trauma isn't anything to joke around about. That being said he's probably gonna be just fine.
oomp: I'm not religious but I'm making an exception and praying for you and your boy. Please update asap and let us know everything's alright.
Hope he's alright, and pretty sure he is from what it sounded like. I hit my little sister in the forehead wit ha softball or baseball when we were kids by accident. She was running up a sand dune and I hit a ball (aluminum bat) up there and of all the places it should have gone....went right up the dune at her. She had a HUGE nasty bump / bruise on her forehead, but she turned out ok.
I hope your son will be as good looking as Van Damme with the lump. In all seriousness, I hope he's okay.
Yes, oomp, please let us know when he is okay. Taking kids to the ER after midnight is not a fun thing to do, let me tell you...
Thanks everyone. He got back an hour after my original post and appears to be ok. We had to check on him every couple of hours overnight to make sure he didn't have deeper issues. The Flying Karamazov will hopefully check his flight plan before jumping in the future.
This happened to my son when he was 2......12 stitches on his head. That fool was one of the monkeys jumping on the bed. ER's can be scary especially when youre there with your child. I'm glad he is okay.
