Well, I signed up for them. The nice thing is they don't even ask for any credit card info so the worst scam this could be is a way to get your address so they can send truckfulls of junk mail. But hey, I don't have a problem throwing junk mail away, so I went for it.
Here's what you do with junk mail: - collect as many worthless coupons, etc.. you can find - find a 'business reply' pre-paid envelope. credit card applications usually have these - insert junk mail and send Voila. You get rid of your junk mail and you get the small satisfaction of annoying the companies who send out the stuff.

thanks a lot drew. i had a subscription to maxim a few years ago. some smooth talking door to door guy got me to sign up for a 2 year deal. i moved about 5 months later and forgot to tell maxim my new addy. maybe this will make up for all those missed issues. ..i wonder if that guy ever won his trip to cancun...ha ha. ...
