First off I would like to thank some people for all their help:

Dave2000 for making saturday night a reality. The group idea was great and must have taken a lot of time, patience and hard work to make it come together. The recognition you got from the organization at halftime was well deserved.

heypartner letting me crash at his place sat night and taking me around houston on sat before and after the game. you and naismith are some crazy guys man, you guys made me feel old with your crazy antics. it was all great though man, i havent seen too many fans with your dedication.

robgue---you and your family for letting me stay sun and monday night. they were some of the nicest and most genuine folk I have ever met. I am forever indebted to you and your family.

krosfyah--your help letting me join in with the rowdies and all and making feel like one will always be remembered. Also your friend with the red wig and yao jersey, i dont remember his name(not sure if he told me),but you guys made me feel at home you have no idea how much that meant to me. if you guys are ever out in LA and need any help you guys are always more than welcome at my place.

    so here it goes

    Game 1
meeting up at live sports bar I didnt know what to really expect there. I walk into a slew of rocket fans. Everyone is greeting one and other and i make my round shaking hands. Heyp did a wonderful job of introducing me to the cf'ers there. I was overwhelmed when I introduced myself as "The_Yoyo" people knew I had come in from LA and i felt like family right away. ok so i am not great with names and i was being hit with a slew of names, both real and cf handles so for some people i remember their real names (i'll not post that here) others their cf handles.

dave2000,me and c***** who also flew in from la for game 1

as for the game itself it was amazing. the energy that we brought was great. I joined the rowdies with their romp at the beginning of the game which was amazing. If anyone has not been a part of this and is in houston i say this: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? it just rose the intensity and the excitement in me and the building at least 5 fold. i being of the soundest mind and body lost my balance when jumping up and down before intros and fell down two rows. luckily heyp and r2k had my back and helped me back up. i hit someone in the back of the head, looking at dave's chart it wasnt anyone part of the board. if it was i am sorry. we were all chanting along i was trying my best to help start and follow any and all chants in our section. after every made basket i kept high fiving nwo34,his wife and Polo and his 2 guests. The atmosphere was great. the second half r2k and heyp left to go with the rowdies and naismith and i held our own. the stories of him being the the craziest mofos around are NOT false. the first thing he did was kiss me on the cheek at live. i wish i was able to meet everyone there, but i couldnt. i think weslinder had a chuck hayes jersey on which was freakin' sweet. kgoodman with his custom clutchfans shirt. Xerobull giving me his beads (i still owe you a shot!) i dont know if that made me the "clutchfan" of the night but it sure made me feel like it. the whole event is something I'LL NEVER FORGET in my life and it was all thanks to all the great folk here at this bbs. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! i woke up the next day barely being able to speak, heyp can verify this.

    Game 2
so i took robgue's bro to game 2 and we went to live's before the game but no one was really there. kam and "unknown" shows up along with moestavern and finalsbound so we all walk down to the TC together. Once there I of course start along and join the rowdies with all the pre game festivities. boozing the few brave or foolish jazz fans that were there. at one point one of the rockets.com guys hand picked me along with some of the other rowdies to be in a picture. I am not sure if that will ever grace rockets.com but I will be looking out for it in the next few days, it would be nice if i was able to get it somehow. I joined the rowdies again for the romp and that was a blast. I went to go sit in sec 125 and it was lame. I keep screaming at every position, chanting doing whatever I can and no one in my area stood up except the two drunk guys behind me. the suit next to me just looked at me like I was annoying him. I was getting frustrated, I didnt want my incredible rockets trip to end like this. so at halftime I tried my luck and went over to sec 114 to try to get in with the rowdies. the usher "looked" at my tix and let me through. at first I thought I would be out of luck and then there was on seat at the end that was open and the rowdies welcomed me all in with open arms. It was a thing of beauty man. sitting down with the rowdies was all whole different ball game, with their free throw rituals and chants. it was like sat night all over again. I felt bad for ditcing robgue' bro in 125 but it could be my only chance to sit with the rowdies i wasnt going to pass it up. the game of course was awesome.

man that just wrapped up probably one of the best, if not the best weekends i have ever had in my life. i have been a rockets fan since I was 5 ( i am 24 now) and this was my first time to houston to see a game (my dad abhorred the rockets) it was a dream come true. I was trying my best to keep with my rituals and all worked out. I am now 11-0 at rocket games i attend!! if anyone wants to chip in to buy me a plane ticket back out for any future playoff games i am more than willing to do my part and attend to be our good luck charm! :)

oh yeah and so i left this morning and as I was leaving I ran into Jake Tsakilides and he was pretty cool about having his picture taken. I asked him and he asked if I had a camera handy and he stop and took a pic with me.

.......and thats the end of that. to everyone thanks again. the rockets made the games great, but it was y'all that made it special for me.

Great post YoYo!! It seems like you had a fantastic time.

    Sort of off topic.

In the picture of the team lined up for the national anthem... look at the three players bowing their heads.

    Tmac, Yao and Chuck.

I think we need to have them all bow their heads.. must get you ready to play! LOL

it was my pleasure yo, u did alot of planning and it all panned out for you

doing get togethers like this makes me want to do more group gatherings.

that was just random to see Big Jake there, but awesome at the sametime.

hope you make it out in June when we are in the Finals :)
