The 14 year old kid who I went to church with...the one suffering from the very rare enzyme disorder...the one who a few of you donated blood for back a few months or so ago....he died this afternoon around 3 PM. In the midst of a great deal of discomfort and loss of the joys of childhood, he always managed to smile. He showed tremendous courage. Take account of all your blessings...
I never know what to say at a time like this. I just hope God has a special little place for him in the heavens. RIP
Im so very sorry. It's always difficult when someone who is so young passes away. It's sort of the ultimate display of mortality and injustice. It causes one to question all sorts or things about who 'deserves' to die and who doesn't that are generally not plesant things to think about. Though I obviously didn't know him, it sounds from your description of his discomfort that he probably is in a better place now.
