Ok. Maybe you are in a competition with morons, but even still, i dont know how you could get that team. So theres 10 teams and you each had 13 picks. thats 130 players and you got probably 9 of the top 50 fantasy players. Man i want in on this comp

Being a homer, I know it's tempting to put Rockets on your team.. but in a 10 player fantasy bball league, there's no reason why you should have Luis Scola on your team. Chuck Hayes is borderline too...
I dropped them already. I picked up Ronnie Brewer off waivers and traded him for T.J. Ford. (before rb's 5 steals the other night) I also picked up Ben Wallace but don't know how long I am gonna keep him since he is playing injured. I also picked up Brendan Haywood as a rental.
You traded Ronnie Brewer for TJ Ford. Man the guys you are playing with must be pretty bad if they do that trade. And B Wallace wasnt drafted He is still a top 10 fantasy centre with his Steals and blocks
well.. Ronnie Brewer looks like he would have been more help to my team right now. my team scored around 650pts the first week so I don't need TJ's scoring. I need steals right now and it seems like rb is a good pickup for the time being. Ben Wallace was drafted but dropped. I think he had an ankle injury and was playing poorly. I don't know.. I guess we'll see. The guys I am playing with are out of Chicago (where I moved from) and for them to drop Ben Wallace .. it tells me I am taking a risk. The guy that I traded is from Dallas. hahaha his whole team are Mavericks and Dirk didn't go till the bottom middle of the first round. He looked all lonely in the draft list. LOL I guess Bulls fans don't like Dirk either.
oh.. I also dropped azubuike for Yi. I dunno.. I think Yi will be more productive in the block shots and may get more playing time. Azubuike (sp?) is playing well but he is hurt right now.
You have an amazing team. Just remember to go for balance - you need a comfortable chance to win any category against any given opponent, with a few strong areas you can always rely on. With a decent amount of management you shouldn't have any problem being first in your league
well.. here's my team that I will go with for the rest of the season barring injuries. I think they do pretty well.. I am 13-1 in pts but 1-13 in TO's. lol so far with injuries, suspensions, and sicknesses.. I am about in the middle of the pack. They are picking it up though. I had almost 800pts last week even with Lebron and Tmac out of a couple games and McCants being out sick. (still is).. he has 105 moves so far! unfortunately.. my team is great for nba live.. but merely ok for fantasy. (I am 13-1 in scoring however) since my guys touch the ball a lot.. I never win the turnover battle and my %'s are erratic. I am at the middle of the standings now.. but hopefully my injuries, sicknesses, and suspensions are over for the season and I hope I don't have to play any more turkeyglu's, calderon's, or bogans from the first part of the season.
should have taken chis paul if you had the chance. boozer of camby in the 3rd would have been a steal also. you still have a pretty good team. seems a little weak at the C position. you must not win reb, blks, fg%. it try to package some guards for a C/PF. that will stabilize your fg% and get you more reb and blks. if you can swing a 3 decent players for 1 star C/PF or 2 decent players for 1 star C/PF then the other guy will have to drop players to make room on his roster. then you can choose to pick up his dropped players or pick up someone who is hot off the waiver wires.
I actually do pretty good in blocks and rebounds. Dalembert and Okafor get me a good deal of them and zach get's me a dbl dbl every night. The categories I always lose is FG%, FT% and I NEVER win TO. You must have been reading my mind. I just traded Joe Johnson, Zach Randolph, and Rashad McCants for Carlos Boozer and Caron Butler. I guess I need to get a pickup off waivers soon. well they blocked that Boozer trade.. LOL. but it helped me out in the long run cause Joe Johnson is going off and Zach still get's me a dbl dbl every night. the final 2 days are here.. I went into the playoffs at 95-92-2. Took out the top seed in rd. 2 with some crappy play by Ginobli. Luckily some key late picks (J.R. Smith) and some good play by Dalembert and Okafor really kept me competitive for the first 2 rounds. Tmac almost lost it for me the first round but Dalembert got me 5 blocks in 2 consecutive games which helped me take that category. The guy I'm playing against is a flipper.. he has 147 moves this season so far. He still can't keep up. (beating him by 150+ pts) So as payback I have dumped all my players that aren't playing tomorrow (last day) and putting in all Rockets because I have him beat in almost every category except steals and bs (barely losing those by one and 2) and it does no good not having players play on the last day. I added Aaron Brooks, Chuck Hayes, Carl Landry, and Deke. I already have Tmac and still thinking about Novak. (I don't need 3s beating him by 20) Filled all my roster spots for Sunday when I only had 2 playing originally. heh If you can't beat em, join em. I am losing 4-5 but if I take steals / bs, then I will be up 6-3 and I will be leading in all non % cat + fg% with no chance for him to catch me in the other cat. We'll see! hehe if I can't overwelm him on rebounds, bs, steals.. the next 2 days then he deserves to win. my team as of Saturday.. I know most prob wont read this thread.. but.. some may find the story kind of funny.. Back a week and half ago I dropped all my players to get back at the flipper in my league on the last day.. (previous post) only to find out that the finals go on for 2 weeks. ugh. I totally f*d myself after steamrolling through the playoffs. well.. I thought, even though this happened.. I was lucky no one could pick my players up at least till the last day of finals so at least I wouldn't get beat by my own players.. I noticed that I got emails at 6:15am or so about waivers going through so I waited and snapped up Okafor back on my team. Lost everyone else and only had Lebron and JRich from my original team cause I couldn't drop them. ugh x2. I stuck in Rockets which in turned sucked because we lost to Utah bad and Tmac just plained played bad %'s. Well I was down by 4 steals until JRich got me 8 on Tuesday, putting me up by 4. I ended up winning the cat by 8. The Okafor pickup netting me 4 blocks yesterday, which we ended up tying in. going into the last game.. I hear they aren't playing Lebron so I pull him and stick in Randolph. After hearing Lebron isn't playing I thought I was done. However.. I forget that teams don't play defense on the last day of the season and my team blew up. After him leading 6-3, I ended up tying 4-4 in the end. I thought I for sure lost cause he beat for the season series. However the playoffs go to points, which no one beat me in. So I ended up winning 4-4. strange as it sounds. It was very gratifying after dropping all my players before the end of the playoffs.. cause I would be pissed for a long time if I lost. Oh well.. still don't know if I am going to through this again next year. It was all too stressful for me. LOL
