Reddit is for nerds who evolved past 4chan but still aren't sophisticated enough to read the New Yorker.

I don't find Sweet Lou 4 2's posts all that sophisticated.

I'm guessing he meant water is 4.5 billion years old, but if you buy it bottled it has an "expiration date."

Well, the text at the bottom covers up information that is vital to the joke.

I'm referring to the fact that "Spring Water" is almost completely covered up.

But how do you know it's water? It look like Mountain Dew. It even says "Mountain" on the label. The point would be clearer if it were a clear bottle, full, and a more recognizable brand name like Ozarka.

And for anyone wondering, it has an expiration date because a state law requires that all food and beverages sold New Jersey must have an expiration date no longer than 2 years from date it was manufactured. Instead of only putting expiration dates on products shipped to New Jersey, companies just put them on everything.

I agree. I saw this thread earlier. I looked at the bottle and thought it was Mountain Dew. It didn't make sense so I just shook my head and called Judgish a homo.

Hmm... It could be that in two years there would be so many poisons leaked into the water from the plastic bottle that you wouldn't want to drink it.

Maybe it was commentary/satire on climate change and how we will run out of drinking water in 2 years:confused::confused:

Why GREEN, though? Need to cover up the fact that it's not completely "crystalline"?
