    Needs more. And your econ and business professors would probably throw this in the trash. Instead of advocating a "new Industrial Revolution" or "dot-com type innovations" that would fix our economy; maybe discuss one of the alternate solutions from the 140 years in between those two events.

    "In order to solve the energy crisis, we either need a new light bulb or cold fusion."

    But keep writing, it's a valuable skill to have. I've been at Starbucks every night for the last week trying to cobble together a personal statement for a deferred MBA application, and all I've got is four paragraphs about gas pipelines.
