I am going to blitz the kazaa and limewire networks for whatever I can find then I am getting the hell off. A friend of mine got a subpoena for about 2000 files he has downloaded and I am going to download what I can, burn them and then erase them. So what I am looking for are good suggestions that I might not have already downloaded over the years, in other words I don't want to hear about with or without you or bohemian rhapsody, if you have any ideas about good songs that have slipped through the cracks over the years and don't make radio playlists, please let me know. Thanks in advance, LeGrouper.
You can go here to check to see if RIAA is after you. http://www.eff.org/IP/P2P/20030725_eff_pr.php By the way, was he sharing those 2000 files?
I really think you're overreacting. But, since you're a Queen fan, like me, I may be able to help you out. Get whatever you can by these bands: REDD KROSS JELLYFISH SUGARBOMB Thank me later.
I was going to download a lot more music on Kazaa when I got back to school in late August. Is it too big a risk now?
is there any way you can get caught if you don't share your files??...if not, then what's the big deal?
just change your settings to "don't share files" and you won't get sued. there's no reason to stop downloading. There are millions who still share files. Here is a quote directly from the that site that lets you see if you have been sued "Disable the "sharing" or "uploading" features on your P2P application that allow other users on the network to get copies of files from your computer or scan any of your music directories. We hate this option, but it does appear that it will reduce your chances of becoming an RIAA target right now."
Can the RIAA go after people in different countries or only in the USA? I'm pretty sure that people overseas and in different countries have many, many of the songs we love to hear and that if we disable the sharing option we can get them from foreigners.
Thanks for the bands thefreak, it was just what I was look for. You see I have about 200 gig of drive space and I can't even guess how many songs I have downloaded, while RM05 was posting I was downloading, let's put it that way. Any, that's for the bands, I am listening to them right now and am very pleased.
I want to be able to download hard to find 80s music that I cannot find in a store. That's all I use Kazaa for. I don't consider it stealing when you can't find the damn song in the store. I'll buy a CD every once in a while. Kazaa is a good place to match a song with it's name, if you didn't know the name. I use Kazaa for this as well.
About that international point you made there - heard anything on what's happening in other countries such as Holland and the UK? Haven't found anything so far.
I don't think they sing. From what I gather, I think they play certain types of instruments. Wood instruments or brass instruments, I don't know. Maybe flutes or something. I think maybe they might also be talented at sax, so they have great lung capacity.
They play all kinds of sweet sweet music. They play with different types of instruments. Skin flute, pork whistle, meat chimes etc.
