My Experience at the Rockets vs Wizards Game - 12/09/06 (With Pics)

So I went to the Rockets at Wizards game last night at the Verizon Center in Washington DC. Was a great experience, especially since we pulled out the win. Went with my friend, we both wore our Rockets away T-Mac jerseys, making sure everyone knew who we were there for.

Great to see T-Mac's first alley-oop of the season live in front of my eyes. Equally sweet seeing Yao get 38 and 11. Really sucked that T-Mac got injured though and I didn't get to see his clutch time magic at the end of the 4th.

My friend and I got to the game early and went down to courtside during shootaround, we were right by the Rockets. We started yelling "T-MAC" out loud several times and it seemed like he was trying to ignore us, but finally when he was on the opposite side of the court and facing us he gave a nonchalant nod. I had a video of this on my cell phone but for some reason it got corrupted, I'm really pissed about that.

We were obviously surrounded by Wizards fans at our seat but were loud and ecstatic nonetheless. Pissed people off all over the place, including the two ladies next to us who ended up tearing up our "T-MAC SHOW THE WIZARDS MAGIC" poster in the 4th quarter. Also met this one Rockets fan who was sitting right in front of us who said he's a reader of the CF BBS.

Also, at halftime the Wizards mascot came up to our seat and my friend was wearing my Rockets red headband. He took it off and threw it to these kids who were in a ledge suite right above us. We just laughed it off and it was all good because the kids gave it back to me. Good to see the Wizards organization knew we were there and reppin the Rockets. Of course this was all made even better by the fact that we ended up winning.

Anyways, did any of you guys see us on TV? We were reppin, hopin FSN would pick us up.

For those of you who downloaded R2K's full game video, go to around 10:38 and tell me what you hear. Does that sound like "T-MAC!" to you guys? I definitely remember doing that occasionally throughout the game, and it seems very well that it could be us.
