Hey guys, I've been working on a self produced ambient electronica album for a couple years now. Everything was recorded at home with analog equipment, but I'm pretty happy with how things have turned out. I'm not trying to make it big with this CD or anything but felt there was enough quality material to put out an album. Due to the analog recordings, I don't even think its high enough sound quality for radio, but it is what it is... My last name is Garay and all my friends call me G-Ray so that's my 'electro moniker'.. The album will be called 'Accidental' because most of the recordings are one take improvisations. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had a website and would be willing to host a couple MP3's of my stuff for people to check out? Its pretty mellow and more tripped out than anything.. Please let me know if you might be interested in hearing some of my tunes or if you have a website and would let me put a few MP3's up. I'm not really sure how I'd transfer the MP3's to someone's site, but I'm sure we could figure it out. thanks, Jeff (threefingeredgus)

Just upload them to someones site and it should open in the appropriate player when downloaded. Are you in Houston? You'd need to get the files to someone unless someone were comfortable in giving you their password for their webshell access. BTW is there anyone you could describe it as? Moby? Kurder&Dorfmeister? Just curious.
That's the problem.. I live in Vancouver, Washington and I don't really know anyone that has a website.. Hmm.. I do have an idea actually.. My cousin lives in San Fran and has a band there w/ a website. I could probably transfer MP3's to him via Instant Messenger and have him upload them to the site.. Hadn't thought of that.. Thanks.
If you can change them into "Real Player" files (like with Acid or Sound Forge) you can even upload them into a Yahoo Geocities site and they'll stream. I've done it before. Good luck!
3fingeredgus...send me an email with those files...I can upload those to a test server for a short period of time (30 - 45 days) so we all can give your music a critique. Just remember...if you make millions, I deserve a little piece of that!

Let these guys (um, self included) here your crap so I'm not the only one opening myself up to criticism. I want to hear it. It sounds so interesting and unique. I will also buy your cd based on your affiliation with cc.net alone. That goes for anyone on here. If you have a product or service for sell I will move you to the top of my vendor list. Well, I finished all the production last night and I'll make some MP3's tonight. I'll probably upload them onto MP3.com, but I will email a copy to Boomboom for now so you guys can check them out. Feel free to be honest because I know this stuff isn't for everyone so I don't really expect everyone and their brother to enjoy it.. (their sisters will though).. Boomboom, I will send you those this evening before the Rocks game!
Speaking of, I still wanna do a video. I've just been too busy catching up with the end of semester stuff I've been putting off all semester. Once finals are out of the way, I can get something done.... if ya still wanna, that is. We'll talk then.

Sup Red? Sorry we couldn't ever get together... I haven't taken this act live yet, but I'm actually headed your way tomorrow to watch the Apple Cup since all my friends and I went to Washington State.. Things are going well. I had to delay my move to Boston for a year, but will be heading to Berklee College of Music next Fall. Sorry for the double post. I'm putting everything on MP3.com right now. Not sure how long this will take.. I've discovered that most of my songs are too big (even as MP3's) to email... I'll give a link when everything is approved on the website. Mr. Oily - the only person I can think of would be Moby or maybe Tricky (w/out the rapping/girl singing)..
