Just finished making and eating this:

    The raw ingredients:

Jumbo shrimps, potatoes, corn, mushrooms, smoked sausage, lots of garlic, hot peppers, lemongrass, onions, various seasonings, orange juice.

    Boiling orange juice.

    Everything boiling!

    Secret sauce!

Shrimps, potatoes, corn, sausage and mushrooms!

    Turned out PERFECT!!!

Major thanks to tested911 for posting the recipe. I followed it pretty much spot on. Just gotta reduce the time for shrimp. The sauce made it beyond awesome! I cook a lot, but never brag about my cooking, but this damn thing was one of the best things I have ever eaten!

Looks amazing, but I don't believe there is an "S" after shrimp, I think Shrimp can be plural or singular.

But, I will have to wait on a Swoly ruling !

BTW - your stove or what I could see of it looks sweet.

I haven't boiled shrimp in a while. I may need to do this. But I'm going to leave the crawfish boiling to others, probably. Can't wait until March'ish - April'ish.

Probably a noob question, but would it be better to boil the shrimp with our without its shell?

#1: Only asians call shrimp "shrimps."

#2: The only reason the shell is on there is for its calcium. Asians don't have a plethora of cows, so this was and still is why Shrimp are served in their shells. Some restaurants still serve the entire shell rather than just the tail.

The shell adds little to no flavor, but I labeled why it is there otherwise in my initial post.

First Sunny D is not OJ...

second, you leave the shell on when you boil it because it's easier to shell off after it's cooked.
