Ok, i was out running and guess who I run into. The Cat. We had a brief 2 min converstion.
I basically asked him how he was doing and stuff. He said he was cool. I asked him if the move to Orlando was tough and he said that the little things are gonna be tough to adjust to such as him knowing his way around Houston and things like him and Jim Jackson sharing a little condo 2 minutes away from the Toyota Center. How he had to adjust to a different routine.
So finally, I had to ask the ultimate question. Would you sign with the Rocktets when your contract is up?
He said, well, it's always good to come back home if you're wanted. That's all

By the time his contract is up Jim Jackson wont be the same player. Jim Jackson could be the backup to both positions with Cat and T-Mac on the wings.....thats a good 2-3.

I dont think Cuttino would mind being on a team where Tmac is starting. I know for a fact if he does well he will get his playing time. Why wouldnt he want to play for a championship calibor team?

Cuttino has always been a fave of mine since the second game of his rookie season when he sank that last second 3.

I'd love to have him back.

That would be awesome to get Cuttino back. But I think Orlando will offer him more to stay. Having another gun on the team w/ Yao and T-Mac would be sweeeeeeeeet. :D

I would like the Cat on the team, sure, now that he and Steve won't be running in tandem; but we'll have the---what? the midlevel exception? And that won't get it done.

Having Sura on the team would reduce his minutes too in addition to the salary cap situation.

Cuttino signed a deal for less money to stay here and they traded him. I don't know why he want to come back.

WILL NOT HAPPEN----UNLESS-----HIS PUBLICITY AGENT TELLS HIM TOO. JUST kidding, I would love to have him back. He really started accepting a smaller role for the team in my opinion and I liked the way he bought into JVG's defensive scheme. I don't think it would ever happen anytime soon though. I sure hope he lights up the EAST though.

If he likes living in Houston, likes playing with Yao, and the Rockets offer him a good contract.... why not? Maybe next time, he'll make sure to put in a no-trade clause in the contract.

Plenty of players has gone back to the city from where they were traded.

Mcdyess comes to mind. He went back to Denver even though it seemed like he had a really good thing going with Kidd.

As much as I love Cat. My favorite player for a long time. I don't see how we can get him. He has a player's option for about 6.5 million that he will decline looking for his las big contract since he is close to 30 years old. He will probably get a contract starting about 7 million for about 5 years. There is no way we could offer that and I don't think we could afford it unless we can dump one of our power fowards on the magic in a sign and trade.

after going to the fonde gym this summer watching him in the summer leauges. It made me reliaze how good he really was .even though steve is my favorite player i think cat is better after seeing both of them a few times last week.

I went to atleast 4 games and i saw cat miss like maybe a total of 5 times , the dude can shoot.

Unfortunately, I think this is totally correct. He took less than he should have got one time, so I'd think this time he'll be looking to cash in. I would LOVE to get him back, but I can't see it happening unless, like stated above, we could unload a nice size contract. I also think it would be great if he could take JJ's spot when his contract expires, but I can't see that happening, this is just a dream in my opinion.

I think Mobley would rather stay somewhere around Philly.. his real hometown
