My blackberry is ****ed

    I dropped my blackberry pearl 8100 and the screen went white. the phone works fine, i can dial numbers and receive calls, but the screen is permanently glowing white.... Anyone have any suggestions of what I can do? I already have a backup phone that is pretty good but I would like to be able to fix the screen so I can retrieve some of the information in the phone. So anyone know what I can do with the screen??

    But are you sure they are out of Houston?

    And I know exactly where that is. Is that where you had to go? It says for an LCD replacement it costs 99 dollars, how much did your type of repair initially cost before the discount?

    out of Houston as in based in Houston. sorry poor phrasing

    they quoted 50 for the replacement screen at that time. When I said I'd stop by, they gave me half off if I brought cash.

    Wow that is EXACTLY what happened to my phone on Sunday. The phone works fine but I cant see **** since the screen is glowing white. I have a crap phone so I plan on getting a new one soon anyways.
