Hey, guys and gals. My band, orange is in, is playing at the Houston Aeros game on January 22. Should be an interesting gig, for sure. You can purchase discounted tickets using the link below or the PDF document (also linked below). We will rock that zamboni into next week. http://www.aeros.com/themenights/ username: orange password: aeros PDF: http://www.orangeisin.com/aeros.pdf http://www.orangeisin.com/
Done. My sister loves the Aeros, and this would be a very neat Christmas gift for her -- she also loves music, so I'm sure she'll be very interested in seeing your band. I'm looking forward to it.
My daughter's fifth grade choir sung "God Bless America" at an Aeros game 2 weeks ago. There was under 5000 people there. Half of those were there because of the 4 different school choirs singing that night. There were more fights on the ice that shots on goal. Boring. It only took one game for me realize why I'm not a hockey fan.
Also done. What would an orange is in hockey team look like? Center - George Kovacik Left Wing - Amy Price Right Wing - Chris Rogers Defenseman - Jeff Balke Defenseman- Leesa Harrington-Squyers Goaltender - This team's so good they don't need no stinkin' goalie.
You guys playing original stuff or covers? KC and the Sunshine Band brought the house down a few years ago.
I'm playing orange is in in heavy rotation here: http://www.live365.com/stations/312197 To answer the question, I recall only one cover - Bobby Goldsboro's Honey. OK, maybe it was another song
This actually sounds like it might be pretty cool. Here is a report from a friend of our singer who went to an Aeros game: the announcer introduces the band...the house lights go down...a spotlight goes on the waiting musicians who thank the crowd and proceed to play two songs (at the end of the 1st and 2nd periods)...their image is also displayed on the jumbotron overhead....it is the COOLEST!
