My album has been out for a few days now, and I figured some of you would want to know. A few of you came to see me when I played in Houston and Galveston and asked that I let people know when it happened, so...I'm letting you know :)

Also...the album's title is a nod to Houston sports. It's called "Kick It In." I keep a Luv Ya Blue towel in my guitar case and usually wear Houston sports apparel when I play...it's sort of my thing...so I wanted to reflect that.

I made a version of the cover in proper Columbia blue, red and white, but my Israeli bandmates (and label) know nothing of Luv Ya Blue and weren't too keen on it, and asked that I change it back to the funky 60s color scheme.

The whole album is available streaming in 128k quality on our website. You can also purchase a 320K mp3 download there. Physical CDs should be out in a week in the US.

I can probably arrange a FLAC version. Would that work?

While it's hard to judge an album upon first listening, this strikes me as an excellent effort, Deji. Something I would be inclined to buy even if (in spite of even?) it did not feature a Clutch fan Member.

First off, that is a great album cover. Reminds me of a lost, classic garage rock release. I just did a quick run-thru listening of the songs available on the band web site (and urge others here to also do). While the musical influences are evident, most so on 'Butterflies' and 'Favorite time of Year' (Willie Nelson) I can not find much fault with that. Songs I liked the most featured the bootleneck slide guitar - 'Kiss Me Like a Girl' for instance.

I'm also impressed with the engineering/production. Someone knew what they were doing here. Very clean but at no sacrifice to retaining a heavy ballsy sound; and that is not so easily done. I could go on, so guess I will. I find the international make up of the band quite interesting, considering so heavily Texan influenced. How did that come to be? - You are the drummer?

Sorry to do this, but I can not resist comparing your bands sound to others (only because i just do this to all bands new to me and can't stop) .. I heard a heavy dose of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Old 97's and the Ike Reilly Assassination here with a little Flamin' Groovies (surprised if that was intentional).

I'll go grab a cerveza from the fridge now and give it another listen.

Not bad at all, I'm impressed with the effort. The album has a nice rockabilly sound that I like. Good luck to you guys.

Thanks for the feedback. Most of what I've heard so far is from my friends and bloggers who rely heavily on google translate and probably don't find the music quite so culturally relevant.

I talked to the label and they should have a FLAC version up tomorrow. The ETA on CDs in the US is end of next week.

After debating with the label, I had them repost the digital download to include both the 320K mp3 AND a FLAC version for the same price.

They told me it's live now.

Listened to the whole thing and really enjoyed it. Definitely has a real 'Texas' sound...which is odd considering you guys are based in Israel. :)
