More than 1/3 of the season is past but if you were to choose the Most Valuable Player today who would it be.

-KG, allways gona be there no matter how bad his team is playing right now.

-Amare, suprise of this year. I dont think anyone knew this guy was gona come this hard!

-Nash, took a dieing team and gave them life again. He can shoot, pass, and do all the extras too. Because of his play the Suns are sitting as the best team in the NBA. (My Pick)

-Shaq, yes his numbers are down becuase he is playing a team game & it shows with there record.

-Dirk Nowitzki, 26.7 ppg! This guy can shoot lights out!

-Bryant, I dont really want him on the list but put him anyways

-LBJ, HE GOT GAME!!!! (Not MVP this year but he'll be there soon enough)

-Duncan, allways gona be here just like KG.

    -OTHER, you tell me

I would have a hard time giving it to Nash since he so much more talent around him than any of the other MVP candidates. I would actually pick Wade for MVP before Nash.

As much as it pains me to say it but Nash would win if the award was handed out today.

He would get another award for thickest chesthair as well

Nash. Not the best player by a mile, but he is the MVP of the team with the best record in the league. No other PG can run the offense better for the Suns than Nash, who also happens to be a great outside shooter.

I would have to go with Nash. You basically put him on the team and look what he has done. They haven't done any real additions or anything and they are just off and running.

The only guy who will keep Nash from winning the MVP is Amare, just like Kobe kept Shaq from winning more than one MVP.

    I picked Other. Dwayne Wade.

I think the suns wouldn't be where they are without Nash. He has really made a difference.

Don't overlook the addition of Q. He has won several games for them and is an essential part of the best starting 5 in the league.

Subtract Duncan or KG from their teams and the Spurs and Wolves would be MUCH worse off than if you were to subtract Nash off the Suns.

Subtract Nash from Suns, Suns would be a lottery team again. Everytime Nash is off the floor, Suns will be back to ISO/TO offense.

There are MVP candidates with better stats than Nash in terms of ppg, rpg, etc.

However, what he has done with the athletic, running talent in Phoenix deserves an MVP especially if the team wounds up with a 65-70 win season and the best record.

Their coach should get CoY easy.

I hope this brand of b-ball catches on again b/c 80-77 scorelines don't appeal to me unless the Rockets are winning. :D

They may or may not be a lottery team. No question Nash has helped the Suns, but I personally think their improved play has more to do with most of their core players (Amare, Marion, JJ) finally getting used to playing together. Sometimes it just takes time before things click.

Just look at the Seattle Sonics. They have come back this season with essentially the exact same roster they had last season. They made no significant additions. Last year they were a lottery team. This season they’re one of the top teams in the league. How do you explain that?

If the Suns didn’t have Nash, they probably wouldn’t have the best record in the league, but I still think they would be much, much better than they were last season.

28-4 is their record. Steve Nash is the answer for it. Enough said!

I would think Wade needs to be on there as well as Shaq.

The LA Kobes haven't done nearly well enough for Kobe to get much consideration. His ppg are there, but the FG% and TOs are rather ugly.

The only reason i put Koby on there is so people wouldnt ask me why i didnt put him on there. I HATE Koby! I'd take Wade over him any time as MVP!
