    Haha, one of the finalists was Bruce Bowen. For such a dirty player, I guess he's good in the community. A bit surprising, but raised my respect for him a little bit.

    No offense to J. Walter, but this is the award that should be renamed.

    Judging by his bio, Kennedy's legacy would be better commemorated attached to Executive Of The Year.

    "The D. M. M. M. J. Jacques Wamutombo Citizenship Award" has a nice ring to it :D

    Outstanding citizen,great guy.No one deserves it more than him.
    Man,I wish he would come back next year one more time. I do realize it's the right time for him to bow out.Just wish it wasn't this way.

    I'm happy our team and city embraced him the way he did. He was a castoff from Chicago and became one of our own. I'm happy that he thinks so highly of houston and that houston thinks so highly of him.
