He believes the team is going deep in the playoffs No tension between him and tmac He was offended to hear about lbj getting all the attention like no one named ron was guarding him He is healthy and practices defense very hard He likes the team chances with inside outside game He talked a out PITA He thought Houston fans showup late and leave early but he will work on changing that by giving thefans something they would want to come and see every piece of it
Man, though I live in South East Asia and never had a chance to watch NBA games live but you got to like Artest's effort to please the fans!
our crowd sucks balls and the players know it. 4th largest city and yet we have such a crappy fanbase. i absolutely hated that we had such an important, national televised game and yet there were so many empty seats. damn corporate schmucks.
Man I was never really upset with the fans leaving early before, coming late is a another story. But anyways, when I saw how hard they played and how well they played vs the Cavs, then seeing the fans walking out with 2 mins left pissed me off. I mean come on atleast applaud your team when the game is over for their effort and performance. We haven't seen a Rockets team like this in nearly a decade. The effort and desire alone will keep me at a game all the way to the end even if they lose. Us fans, not all, need to appreciate this because it may not last. Very upsetting to say the least.
tickets are expensive, beers are $9, and the toyota center provides an awful atmosphere. nonstop annoying sound effects and blaring hip hop music without a respite of silence from start to finish. those are the reasons that i don't go anymore. i'd imagine many others share the same sentiments. i enjoy watching basketball and hearing the sounds of the game when i watch it. call me old-fashioned i guess.
I was at the game and it pissed me off how many people left with 4 minutes left. Why do people do this?
Because some of us have to be at work for budget meetings at 6:30 am and live an hour from Toyota Center?
Yep. Same douches that call ushers to quiet loud fans getting into the game and check their iPhones while the game is going. Same douches that don't show up. Yep, same ol' corporate snobs.
I've only been to the Toyota Center (Summit as a kid, don't remember well). Are all arenas not like this? My guess was that they all had the same 15 or so songs they play, same overpriced foods/drinks etc... Not the case? Also Clutch (the Bear) is a really great mascot. He won't wow you like Turbo maybe, but he really makes me laugh sometimes and I get the feeling he is one of the best mascots in the league. Didn't he win an award some time?
