I used to play drums in a band here in houston and we played some gigs at various clubs in the mid to late 90's. Well recently the old band wants to give it another go with some old and new faces and we began talking about the Houston music scene of that time. One band that I really liked from that time was a band called "Stride" as in "Take it in Stride," They were a phenominal band. They played instrumental heavy metal/hard rock music in some ways like Dream Theater. My old band never opened for them or anything, we were just fans of good music. I was wondering if anyone knew, or knows, anything about them, like do they still play? and if so where? Do they go by a new name? (I have been recently been looking in the Houston Press and Music News and I didn't see anything). Any information would be cool.
