Maybe, but I'm not that ashamed. Even though I like it, that genre has never big with the people in my circle. And no matter where or what part of the country I've lived in, I just don't hear much stuff like it on the radio (at least on the sucky stations I've come across). I discovered a long time ago, too, that even within certain genres, different regions tend to favor certain artists.
Nice, some of these HBCUs have outstanding bands and dancers. It can make the games more fun for the crowd and many come for the show. Tuskegee University Marching band, a home game covering Houston artist Big Pokey's track Ball and Parlay.
