This is one of the best songs, and funniest videos I have seen in a long time. Good stuff. http://media.bmgonline.com/jiverecords.com/bowling_for_soup/video/1985_300.asx
I like Bowling For Soup. There the perfect party band group. They don't take themselves seriously, they just write fun music and they just have a good time. In today's era of music where everyone thinks they're the Beatles, it's nice to see some groups just out there playing for fun.
i liked the song a lot when it first game out, but after it hearing it 30,208 times, it gets really annoying to listen to. To top that off, I saw them play on kimmel and they were horrible, and made the song sound worse. SO the moral of the story is 1) stick to the cd or music video, don't see them live 2) on the 30,207th time you listen to it, stop.
I liked that song, but man, 104 would shove it down my throat hardcore. it was cool the first few times, but after that, it was just mental breakdown. I can't just jump out of my car. I could always change the dial to a latino station though.
This is the first time I've ever heard this song. Seriously. Do they play it a lot? I've also never heard of Bowing for Soup. Is the fat guy really in the band?
I went to see "Friday Night Lights" last weekend and we got there really early, so we saw all these ads for TV movies and shows and stuff. And one of the things we saw was some crappy show called the "Real Gilligan's Island" and these clowns were playing the theme song and dressed like the characters (Gilligan, Skipper, Professor, and Mr Howell). I was never so glad to see a song end in my life.
I almost banged a chick who was great friends with these guys. In fact, it was my own guilty conscience that made me not. I'm an idiot. Carry on.
The fat guy plays guitar. The band is from Texas as well. Their last album 'Drunk Enough to Dance' is probably going to be one of my all-time faves. Live show is excellent.
Yup, he is. I remember seeing them about six years ago in Abilene, where they would play about once a month. Back then they sounded just like Green Day, now they sound like a Sum 41/Good Charlotte clone...
i like the song. It reminded me of "the 80s song" that we recorded 3 years ago. If any of you guys have that online somewhere post it and marvel at the similarities. I can't ftp from work and am on dial up at home.
