Albums pretty good. TI is probably my favorite mainstream artist. Here's my favorite song from the album. Anybody else pick up the album or gave it a listen? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8sQrsfVuYXw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8sQrsfVuYXw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
This is pretty good. Better than his last couple of albums. Sometimes I don't pay too much attention to his lyrics because I assume it will just be about money, cars and clothes. But this album actually contains some songs with meaning. Pretty good for a mainstream album.
on top of the world, my favorite song as well from the album. Luda absolutely kills it on this song. From top to bottom imo this has been the best rap album in a while, every song I like. 56 bars, live your life, no matter what, dead and gone, slide show, swagga like us, all are really good songs.
I read that TI is like 5 foot 6 in height. Also isn't he supposed to go to jail soon? He is on some deferred sentence right now, but he has to serve one full year for that arms possession charge.
i wouldn't say i loved that song but i do love what TI is doing lately. He's a money/crack rapper who is actively changing his content to what his life really is about. He's really setting an example for the young rappers who try to emulate him.
So, Weird Al has a new song released on itunes. A parody of "Whatever You Like" with the same name. Never heard of TI before that. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yRVi0paZlfI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yRVi0paZlfI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> By the way, is there some deeper meaning to the original, or is it all about his $$ getting him laid?
I think the album was solid, and I'm glad that T.I. is trying to learn from his mistakes. I wouldn't mind him poppin Shawty Lo in the grill before he does a bid though.
