Jeff, have you heard any of the last 3 King's X albums? Amazing stuff! I've been listening to "Ear Candy" for the past couple of days. What an album! The one after that, "TapeHead", is amazing too! And their latest, "Please Come Home...Mr. Bulbous" ain't too shabby either. I would say they could be the best rock-n-roll band around today--definitely one of the most impressive catalogues of any band out there right now. Just wondering if you kept up with them after "Faith Hope Love". ------------------ "I'll be gettin real drunk and making fun of everybody"
To be honest, I haven't listened much to them after Dogman. I've heard snippets of their stuff from those albums but I haven't really kept up. I actually got to know Doug fairly well in the early 90's because we had a mutual friend. He is a really great guy and MUCH older than he looks. He gave me one of the greatest compliments I've ever had as a bass player too. I'm sure anything they are doing is terrific. If you've never seen them live, don't miss your next chance. They are an unreal live act. ------------------ And then, depression set in...
Gretchen Goes To Nebraska is my favorite of their's. ------------------ "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."- (Aldous Huxley)
