What music player program do you use? and why?

I'm starting this thread because I want a music program that will play random CD files, like most will play random song files. I like to listen to the whole CD most of the time, especially down at the beach house. I just want to start it up and let it play all day (without me pre-selecting all the music).

Also I have heard there are some audiophile player programs like Decibel and River Media Center that produce better sound from lossless files off your hard drive using better digital-to analog converters. What's that deal cost?

I get my parakeet to learn the songs and sing them back to me.
