Anyone heard of these freaks? I saw them on Letterman a couple of weeks ago and they're like The Strokes meets The Allman Bros Band meets Creedence Clearwater Revival! 70's throwback band that throws down! I bought their latest release from Cactus, it was like 9.99 for the CD and it's pretty rockin' & groovy!

also, check out Rolling Stone's band bio.

Supposedly, their father was a preacher, the band consists of 3 brothers and a cousin. They used to rock the pulpit and after their father left the road, they started a band! Praise Jebus cause these guys kick butt!

Yeah I like them, they are playing the Austin music fest Sun at 12 or 12:30 which is the same time as the Shins. Two of the "alt" bands I wanted to see the most and they are playing the same early time which means i'll probably miss them both... oh well.

Kings of Leon are getting a huge hype now here in Europe swapping over from the UK based magazines like NME.

I got their EP and the acutal LP "youth and young manhood".

Well, what can I say. Its a pretty good album and Rockheads
"The Strokes meets The Allman Bros Band meets Creedence Clearwater Revival! 70's throwback band" beats it to the point.

It's very good beerdrinking music and the funny fact that two or three of them are preacher sons makes them even more sympatical.

I really like the song "Trani".
