the black eyed peas are a terrible live act. fergie cant sing for crap and the beats that come off so funky in the studio , just go south on stage. no one should even attempt "sweet child". its a song that is too classic to be messed with by anybody.
black eyed peas shouldnt even be making original music, much less singing other peoples songs. I remember when the BEPs first came out, they were "real" now they are just shells of their former selves. plus they suck sooooo bad.

I'll take a pass on the Fergie thing... I'm still recovering from hearing Sheryl Crow butcher that song. (And I normally like Sheryl Crow.) Music is subjective, and we can't argue forever about it, but still, Guns N Roses (the original) did not suck. Gwen Stefani... the weird thing is that she used to put out a lot better stuff and now she's regressed... trying to be in high school instead of her mid-30's. (though I give her points for not getting old too fast ) I have a feeling Fergie is not up there because of her musical talent.

I went to college with a girl who dates a guy working on some movie that Fergie is in. Apparently, her bf was responsible for playing "My Humps" over the loudspeakers on set every day that Fergie showed up. According to my friend, it was actually in her contract that "My Humps" had to play every time she walked on set...
