If you ask me, VH-1 is kicking MTV's royal *ss right now. They actually play videos from all kinds of artist at night (Thankyou!) and the VH-1 specials rock. I do like MTV's real world and road rules shows, but please, show me some damn videos like you used to do. All I ever see is like 5-10 videos at most. Carson has his following, but, I think VH-1 is so much better that they will receive my vote as the better music channel. Odd considering they were COUNTRY music for a long time.

    Phi,
That's why they came out with M2. All videos, all the time, all styles. About as close to the old days that you're going to get.

What's M2? Is that MTV2? I dont get that in D.C., but it sounds like what I might be looking for.

M2 would be a lot better if they just stuck with the A to Z thing they did at the start of last year, I think, where they played EVERY video EVER made. It took like 4 months and they went 24-7.

MTV shows videos in the early morning hours. The problem is that there schedule is unpredictable. There is a show on MTV called Hot Zone which also shows videos in the morning-early afternoon.

All of the videos on MTV are pop mixed in with whatever is popular among teens. VH-1 has a better variety - something called the Morning Mix which I really like.

I vote for neither. They both suck.

I will ALSO cast my vote this way. While MTV doesn't really show videos anymore, can I get something besides the ******* "Behind the MUSIC???" Good Lord.

That's what I was thinking. Every time I've looked, they either have Road Rules some strange soap-opra type show (Naked?), or a beach special.

VH1's not much better, but they like to broadcast "behind the music" all day long.
