Looks like the country is incredibly sick and tired of "Hope and Change".

On the positive side, 11% think Obama is "Very Competent". They live here in the D&D!!!

Thank goodness for "the public," without 4,000 dead GIs and a global recession you can't always tell.

If you want to bore or frustrate moderates and independents into rejuvenating the GOP under the guise of change. Non-billionaire white guys without Southern accents or Ivy-league backgrounds get promotions every day.

What America is tired of is the No Hope and No Chance For Change with a dysfunctional republican House.

Really, you want to criticise and vilify Mr. Obama but what other than sign the republican/insurance lobby written ACA has he done? He can't even appoint a head for the ATF. The trolls will say he can't lead and won't work with the republicans but we all know that's bull, the plan all along was to deny any and all bi-partisanship and punish any party member that even appears to consider cooperation.

He has faced an 8 year campaign of obstruction and propaganda designed to stymie any reforms of the Clinton/Bush/Greenspan era of corporate control. The choices going forward will be plutocracy or democracy and the people with the money and soulless lawyers/lobbyist/and PR men that work for them want you to vote against your own interest and let them run things for their greater profit.

And Mr. Obama is the "problem"? This sh** is going to get Orwellian scary.

Just another indication that the war on government started at the time of Reagan so the wealthy would not have to pay taxes has succeeded.

Can't expect much more from poor old ex US Rep Scarborough who was an early Tea Party type extremist who was defeated before it became quite popular enough.

Heh, the wealthy pay almost all of the taxes saying that the rich don't have to pay any taxes would be like saying the poor have all of the money. If the rich didn't have to pay any taxes, there would be almost no government at all.

This is more anti-government than anti-Obama.

Heh, the truly wealthy pay dramatically lower tax rates than working Americans. Looking at absolute dollar amounts paid in taxes without looking at rates is intellectually dishonest, guess I should expect that from you by now.

    You're not.

Here are the Bush/Obama comparisons for the equivalent point in their presidencies

    Bush June 2006

    Approve 36 Disapprove 57

    Obama June 2014

    Approve 42 Disapprove 52

By the way, according basso's criteria Bush's presidency was over in August of 2005.
