I was wondering do any of you know how to edit MP3s pt know of a program that edits MP3s? I would like to add bass to some of mine and treble to others and I would also like to slow-down (commonly known as screw) and maybe chop some songs. If anybody can help please hook me up with the info.

PS: I have Morpheus and when I complete downloading a song it saves it as a .dat file and not an MP3, why is it doing this and how can I stop it?

You have to turn the mp3 files to wave files, you can do it with musicmatch...

And you edit it, with some program called acid music...

I used a program a while ago called "Cool Edit 2000" and its counterpart "Cool Edit Pro". They worked fairly well.
